What we fix

Most of what a shop does — in your driveway

Seven jobs Nick handles on site, with the price agreed before the work starts. If yours is not listed, call and ask.

  1. Fluid check

A vitals check for your vehicle — catching current and potential problems before they strand you.

Engine bay with the brake-fluid reservoir and battery visible, hood up.
  2. Battery test

Testing the battery — the heart of a modern electrical system — so a dead start never catches you out.

Jumper clamps on a car battery under the hood, outdoors.
  3. Brake repair & replacement

Noise, vibration and worn pads sorted — through to a complete brake-system overhaul.

A brake rotor and caliper exposed with the wheel removed on a driveway, tools laid out alongside.
  4. Complete vehicle inspection

A full look-over before a trip, a purchase or a sale — or just for peace of mind.

A gloved mechanic working under a raised hood.
  5. Tire change

Flats swapped, tyres rotated, and new wheels and tyres fitted — all on site.

A mechanic in work gloves holding a tyre, checking the tread.
  6. Electrical diagnosis & repair

Tracing and fixing electrical faults — from rodent-chewed wiring to a failed module.

A vehicle dashboard and centre console with the controls lit up.
  7. Trailer repair

Electrical and hydraulic brakes, wheel bearings, lighting and tyres — the running gear kept road-ready.

A stock trailer and an RV parked on gravel with trees behind.

How it works

One call, and we come to you

No booking portal and no dispatcher. You talk to Nick, he comes to the vehicle, and you know the price before the work starts.

  1. Call Nick

Tell him what the vehicle is doing and where it is sitting. You are talking to the mechanic, not an office.

  2. He comes to your location

Driveway, workplace or roadside, anywhere in Snohomish County. No tow, no drop-off, no waiting room.

  3. Fixed right, priced up front

The cost is agreed before any work begins. If an extra part or more labour comes up, Nick checks with you first.

One customer, in their own words

Rated 5 out of 5

Whenever a mechanical issue pops up with our vehicle, Nick is always available and ready to help. He is an exceptionally skilled mechanic who truly knows how to diagnose the root cause of a problem right away. What we appreciate most is his absolute honesty and transparency. There are never any hidden fees or surprise charges. If an additional part or extra labor is ever needed, Nick communicates clearly with us before doing any work.

About

The mechanic who comes to you

Nick Engleson started OnSite Automotive in 2020 after a decade as a certified mechanic and four years doing field service. The idea was simple: why bring your car to a shop when the shop can come to you?

He runs it with his wife Cassie out of Lake Stevens and covers the whole of Snohomish County. Nick does the work himself — there is no crew to hand your vehicle to and no dispatcher between you and the person turning the wrench.

What customers keep coming back for is the honesty. The price is agreed before the work, and if something extra turns up, Nick tells you before he touches it. No hidden fees, no surprise charges, and the repair done right the first time.
